Created for the "All Scotland Youth Councils 2016 on the 20th of November 2016
The symbol at the top of the image is a (bit of a skewed) representation of a "trinity knot", a symbol among some traditions for the Trinity of God. This knot has a shaft of light (that is Love) flowing through the "prism" of the knots central part, this refracts the lights into its colours and down to the figures who are looking towards the Trinity. Each figure receives a different colour, and then cast its out into the darkness around them. A couple of other elements in the image, are crimson heart shape around the knot representing love, but also the sacrifice of Christ, and the parts of the knot representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
