In the first piece I tried to show the idea of restoration inspired by kintsugi (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi).
One of the three artworks created during the NEON youth events at the Boundless International Congress in July 2015 (that celebrated 150 years of the Salvation Army). The pieces were created using procreate on the iPad during the session (with the screen being displayed onto a larger screen for the attendees to see the progress, usual time taken was between 60 and 90 minutes. All of the pieces had some common elements, "darkness to light", and "restoration" or "recreation".
